Genres
Genres are used to categorize artists and events, and to provide relevant suggestions to users.
List of Genres
The list displays all genres and sub-genres (expandable by clicking the chevron at the beginning of the row if the genre has sub-genres). You cannot delete a genre if it is associated with an artist or an event.
Genre Form
When creating or editing a genre, you must provide:
- The name of the genre
- The color used in the list of genres (visual aid)
- Similar genres used to suggest events or artists (optional)
Sub-Genre Form
When creating or editing a sub-genre, you must provide:
- The name of the sub-genre
- Similar sub-genres used to suggest events or artists (optional)
